Brian/Jami....just listened to the "podcast" now, a week after you uploaded it. Nice job, Jami, and a wonderful voice picture of your ministry, your struggles, your victories, and your "realness." I found myself mentally traveling with you in your descriptions. Well done.
Listening to it, I also became angry at my own apathy and American isolationism. It is a reminder that you and our other friends with AIM are on the front lines of battle, each day, shields leveled, swords drawn. Oh, we have it here, but we have our enclaves of the local body to run to each week. How pathetic we must seem to you all as we battle over church splits, what is the correct Bible translation, Calvinist or Armenian, and other seemingly useless church minutia/blather.
"Lord give me the right perspective, to keep eternity's values in view."
